Interior Design

The CDA Interior Design Award recognizes exceptional built work across three distinct categories — from intimate residential projects to large-scale commercial and cultural commissions, hospitality environments, and landscape interventions. Entries are evaluated exclusively by CDA voting members: over 300 architects, designers, editors, and cultural leaders from 55 countries.

Requirement

Work submitted must have been completed between April 2025 and November 2026. 

Entry fee is €220 per submission

Best Hospitality Project 

Recognizes outstanding interior design work in the hospitality sector — bars, hotels, resorts, and restaurants where design serves the quality of the guest experience.

Recognizes exceptional interior design work in residential design — from single-family homes to multi-unit developments — where spatial quality, material intelligence, and livability define the work.

Best Commercial & Cultural Project

Recognizes interior design excellence across commercial and civic contexts — museums, art galleries, religious buildings, libraries, theaters, entertainment venues, schools, universities, airports, government buildings, workplaces, and retail environments.
